HOT PEPPER JELLY
3/4 c. ground fresh green peppers
1/4 c. ground green hot peppers
6 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo
Few drops green food coloring

Grind peppers, saving liquid. Mix sugar, vinegar and add ground peppers and liquid. Bring to full rolling bowl. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Stir in Certo and add a few drops of green food coloring.

Pour into jelly glasses, cool, then cover with wax or regular jar covers.

Makes 6 or 7 full cups. Excellent on crackers with cream cheese or as accompaniment for meats, fish or poultry.

I use jalapenos and leave seeds in. Use food processor to mix. Leaving seeds in makes jelly hotter.
