1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. hot applesauce
1/2 c. nuts

Cream butter; beat in sugar. Add egg; mix well. Stir in raisins. Sift dry ingredients together; stir into butter mixture. Stir in applesauce and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
