TOMATO COCKTAIL DRESSING | |
1 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. vegetable juice cocktail (V-8 juice) 1/4 c. chili sauce 2 tbsp. salad oil 1 tbsp. lime juice 2 tsp. prepared horseradish In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Gradually blend in vegetable juice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 1 minute more. Remove from heat; stir in chili sauce, oil, lime juice and horseradish. Chill. Serve with meat or vegetable salads. Makes 1 1/3 cups; 20 calories per tbsp. |
