CHICKEN BOOYAH 
1 stewing chicken
3 tbsp. rice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped carrots
1 (6 oz.) pkg. noodles
A little bay leaf
A little parsley
A little basil

Cook chicken in boiling water until tender. Remove from broth and cool. Place rice, seasonings, vegetables, and noodles in the broth and cook until vegetables are tender. Remove chicken from bones and cut in small pieces. Add to the rice mixture and simmer for 15 minutes. Makes 10-12 servings.
