BARLEY SOUP 
Veal or beef, cubed
Little barley
Salt and pepper
Celery salt
Onion seasoning
Soup greens or mixed vegetables

In large pot, wash meat. Cover with cold water. Cook until tender. Cool 10 to 15 minutes. Add soup greens or mixed vegetables and barley; add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for one half hour longer. Serve very hot. 4 to 8 servings.
