ANGEL COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks, unbeaten
1/2 c. sour cream

Cut the butter into the flour as for pie dough. With a fork, mix together egg yolks, sour cream, and vanilla; add to flour mixture. Continue mixing with the fork and then with hands to form a firm dough. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Working with one piece at a time, roll out on floured board, cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet about 13 minutes until light brown. When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Makes about 60 small cookies.
