ANGEL SURPRISE COOKIES 
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Beat egg whites until foamy; add salt, cream of tartar and vanilla. Beat until peaks form. Add sugar and 2 teaspoons at a time. BEAT WELL. Cover cookie sheet with brown paper bag, cut to size, for each batch of cookies. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto brown paper and bake 20 to 25 minutes in 300 degree oven.
