ISLAND TERIYAKI MARINADE 
1/8 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar (I use maple syrup)
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. dry ginger
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 lbs. beef, chicken or lamb

Mix all ingredients together except meat. Pour over meat. Soak several hours or longer.
