ALWAYS-SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine flour and soda; set aside. Beat together butter, sugars, vanilla, and pudding mix until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Do not over bake. Makes 5 dozen.
