1 lb. ground beef 1 chopped onion 1 lg. jar spaghetti sauce 1 sm. jar spaghetti sauce 1 box pasta shells 16 oz. Ricotta cheese 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach 1 egg Mozzarella cheese Brown ground beef and onion. Drain and add to 1 large and 1 small spaghetti sauce. Cover and simmer on low. Cook spinach. Drain. Boil pasta until tender. Drain and cool. Mix Ricotta cheese, spinach, and egg. Fill shells with mixture. Spoon layer of sauce into 9 x 13 inch pan. Place shells (seam side down) onto sauce. Top with remaining sauce. Top with Mozzarella cheese (amount varies to taste). Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until heated through and bubbly and cheese is melted. |
