APPLESAUCE NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce
1/3 c. oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. brown sugar

Grease 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. In large bowl combine sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs and milk. Mix well.

In small bowl combine flour, soda, baking powder, 1/2 cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Add to applesauce mixture and mix well. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans. Pour into pan.

Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Cover loosely with foil after first 30 minutes of baking. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
