PA. DUTCH HOT BACON DRESSING 
4 slices bacon, browned and crushed (set aside dripping)
1 egg
1 tbsp. flour
2/3 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar

Beat all ingredients together but the bacon. Add to bacon fat and cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Pour over green, crumbling in bacon. Serves 6.

I'm rather new to cooking and found this version of Hot Bacon Dressing to be pretty amazing. Will definitely make again and again.

Like so many others on this site, I had to substitute a couple things. 1/4 c. vinegar became 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar. Sugar became artificial sweetener.

I was a bit wary about the egg, but it really added a great flavor and texture.
