PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH HOT BACON
DRESSING
 
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
5 heaping tbsp. light brown sugar
1 1/2 heaping tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
3 strips bacon

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towel. Add water to pan. Mix eggs, vinegar, sugar and flour. Add to pan and cook until slightly thickened. Crumble bacon and add to dressing. If desired, add one or two diced hard cooked eggs. Serve over dandelion greens, endive or lettuce.
