1/4 pound bacon, 2 small heads of cabbage 1 large onion, salt and pepper to taste In large skillet, fry bacon. While it is frying, core and cut cabbage into bite size pieces, then chop onion. Add to skillet, frying on medium heat until tender. Submitted by: lostshakerofsalt |

Heated skillet, added bacon, olive oil, onion and garlic. Cooked until bacon was crispy and onions were clear.
Added coarsely chopped cabbage and covered for about 45 minutes on low. Stirred every 10 minutes.
At the end I added a few drips of white vinegar to the finished result.
It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
