SOUTHERN CREAM APPLE PIE 
Make pie crust for 9-inch pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes; cool.

FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. apples, finely chopped

Combine sugar and flour. Add sour cream, beaten egg, vanilla and salt and beat until smooth. Stir in apples and pour into the partially baked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until filling is almost set.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Blend above ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Spread on pie and bake 10 minutes longer. Peaches may be substituted for apples.
