HOMEMADE BISQUICK MIX | |
8 c. flour 8 tsp. baking powder 4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. shortening (not oil) 2 2/3 c. dry milk (opt.) Sift flour and measure. Sift again with baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until the mixture has a fine even crumb. Place in an air tight container and keep in refrigerator using as desired. If dried milk is used just add water to mix and egg, otherwise add milk to make mixture. If kept in refrigerator this mixture will last up to one month, but will keep much longer if placed in freezer. |
