TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil butter, water and cocoa together in a saucepan. Add in same pan flour, sugar and salt. Then add beaten eggs, sour cream, baking soda and vanilla. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes in a cookie sheet pan. Frost cake while warm.

Chocolate Frosting:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
3/4 lb. confectioners' sugar

Using the same saucepan as cake, boil the butter, cocoa and milk. Add confectioners' sugar. Beat until smooth. Spread on warm cake.
