CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground sausage
1/2 c. rice, uncooked (long grain)
2 eggs
5 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 lg. onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lg. can tomatoes (fresh can be used)
1 lg. can sauerkraut
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 lg. head cabbage

Soak cabbage in hot water. Mix all ingredients (except sauerkraut, tomatoes and tomato paste) and form into balls. Core cabbage and wrap meat in softened leaves of cabbage.

Place tightly in roaster, cover with tomatoes mixed with tomato paste. Spread sauerkraut on tomatoes. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
