RUBY'S CHICKEN DUMPLING SOUP 
1 chicken
1 bay leaf
1 onion

Boil until done. Remove chicken from bone and set aside. Remove bay leaf. 1/2 c. milk Flour to make thick batter

Drop by spoon into boiling broth. Dumpling should be firm, add more flour if necessary. Add chopped chicken and simmer about 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.
