Cucumbers
Salt
Lime

Vinegar
Mixed spices
Cloves
Celery seed

Make brine using 1 cup salt to 1 gallon water enough to cover whole cucumbers in stone jar. Let set for 7 days. Take out, wash and slice. Put back in jar and cover with mixture of 1 cup lime to 1 gallon water. Let set for 3 hours. Prepare vinegar mixture of 2 cups sugar to 1 cup vinegar, enough to cover cucumbers. Put spices in bag, 2 tablespoons mixed spices, 1 tablespoon cloves, 1 tablespoon celery seed to 1 gallon of cucumbers. Let come to rolling boil and cook for 35 minutes and seal.
