SOUTH AMERICAN POT ROAST | |
4 to 4 1/2 lb. chuck roast 1/4 c. shortening 1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. vinegar 1 c. water 1 c. onion, thinly sliced 1 pkg. noodles Brown meat. Add seasonings, liquid and onions. Cook over low heat or in moderate oven (350 degrees) covered about 4 hours. Make gravy and serve with noodles. |
