MOMMA'S HOMEMADE CHICKEN &
NOODLES

This recipe has been passed down many generations in my family and everyone always seems to adore this meal. GREAT for leftover turkey on Thanksgiving (substitute chicken with leftover turkey).

NOODLES:

12 eggs
6 cups flour
2 tbsp. lemon pepper
1 tbsp. seasoned salt

At the beginning of the day make noodles.

Mix all noodle ingredients together, if sticky, add a little more flour. should make a dough ball. Flour table or counter top. Roll the dough out on a table or counter top. Roll out until thin (needs to be petty thin, noodles swell to over double their size while cooking).

Allow noodles 8 hours or so to dry. then cut noodles to desired size.

SOUP:

4-5 boneless chicken breasts
5 cups water
15 chicken bouillon cubes
3 tbsp. minced dried onion

Boil chicken breasts in water (may need more water), bouillon cubes, and onion. Cook till chicken is completely cooked. Remove chicken (keep broth), tear into small pieces, put chicken back into the broth and bring to boil.

Add noodles to boiling broth. Cook until noodles are completely done (only way to really check this is to bite into noodle, check a thicker noodle).

Note: For a thicker soup add small amount of flour.
