INTERNATIONAL BEEF STEWS 
BASIC:

2 lbs. beef stew, chuck
2 onions, med. or lg.
Garlic, salt and pepper to taste

VARIATIONS OF SAUCE:

Italian - 1 sm. can tomato paste

Brazilian - 1 jar orange marmalade

Russian - 3-4 tablespoons sour cream

Ellie's - 1 jar apricot preserves

French - 1 cup red wine

1. Fry onions, brown meat, season as preferred.

2. Dissolve item of choice for sauce and cook slowly on stove or 375 degree oven until meat is soft.

3. Add water only in small quantities if sauce is too thick.
