IRISH SCONE 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tbsp. butter, softened
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins

Pour boiling water over raisins and soak 5 minutes; drain well. Mix all other ingredients together. Fold in raisins. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Sprinkle a wee bit of flour over top before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
