IRISH SCONES 
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Tiny pinch salt
1 egg
3/4 stick butter
1 1/2 c. raisins
1-1 1/2 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour tins. Sift dry ingredients. Blend in butter. Add egg and milk. Knead in raisins. Turn on floured board. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake 25-30 minutes. Yield: 1 1/2 dozen.
