APRICOT REFRIGERATOR DESSERT 
1 c. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
Pinch of salt
4 eggs, separated
1 sm. container Cool Whip
2 pkgs. dried peaches or apricots
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
1 tsp. vanilla

Soak peaches in small amount of water. Cook and sweeten with 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Crush vanilla wafers and spread evenly in pan. Cream butter and confectioners' sugar. Add salt and beaten egg yolks, vanilla, and stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour this evenly over crumbs. Spread peaches evenly over above mixture. Spread the Cool Whip over peaches. Chill for 6-8 hours.
