JULIA'S PANCAKES 
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. oil
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sugar
Dash salt & pepper

Beat all ingredients in a medium bowl with a hand beater until smooth. Grease a heated griddle, if necessary. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle. Cook about 1 minute, flip pancake, cook another minute until golden brown. Makes 12 to 17 pancakes.
