PAUL LYNDE STEW 
3 lbs. lean stew cubes, beef
1 c. diced carrots, drained
1 c. small onions, drained
1 c. tiny peas, drained
1 c. green beans, drained

Add to meat:

1 c. tomatoes
1 c. beef consomme
4 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. prepared bread crumbs
1 sm. bay leaf
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
Dash of pepper

NOTE: Meat does not have to be browned, just put all in oven when you go to work at 250 degrees. When you return at night a beautiful stew is ready.
