SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. sugar

Combine chopped nuts, cinnamon and 2 teaspoons sugar at the beginning so that it is ready.

Cream together butter, 2 cups sugar and eggs until light. Fold in by hand the sour cream and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Fold into creamed mixture. Spoon half the batter into greased and lightly floured 10 inch tube pan.

Sprinkle the combined nuts, cinnamon and sugar over the batter. Then add remaining batter. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven. Cool almost completely before removing from pan.
