JULIA'S 24 HOUR CABBAGE 
1 head cabbage
1 sm. onion
1 green pepper or 1 carrot or both
6 sliced olives, optional

Sprinkle over 1/2 cup sugar. Let set awhile.

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. vinegar

Boil ingredients 3 minutes; add hot to cabbage mixture. Cover; let refrigerate 24 hours. Keeps until all gone.
