SALISBURY STEAK 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. leaf basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. oil
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1. Combine beef, onion, salt, pepper and basil; mix.

2. Shape into patties. Brown in oil in large skillet.

3. Remove patties and drain well. Pour drippings from pan.

4. In same pan, saute mushrooms in butter.

5. Combine gravy mix, water and Worcestershire sauce. Add to mushrooms.

6. Put patties in baking dish. Add gravy over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
