NORWEGIAN APPLE CAKE 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
6 oz. milk
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
4 apples, peeled and sliced

Heat butter and milk to boil, then cool until warm.

Beat eggs and sugar well; add to warmed milk and butter. Add flour and baking powder to mixture.

Pour mixture into a 9-inch round spring pan and arrange apples on top.

Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes.
