PEANUT BUSTER PARFAIT DESSERT 
1 sm. pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed, mix with 1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 gal. softened vanilla ice cream
1 jar ice cream topping (fudge or caramel)
1 can salted peanuts
1 carton Cool Whip, 8 oz.

Press crushed cookies and melted butter into bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Save about 1/4 of a cup crumbs for topping.

Spread 1/2 gallon of softened ice cream onto cookie crumbs. (I slice the ice cream and fit the slices over cookies and press down.)

Put pan in freezer to freeze ice cream solid. Spread fudge ice cream topping over ice cream, then peanuts. Put pan back in freezer before adding Cool Whip. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Freeze.
