BARBECUED PORK RIBS 
4 to 6 lbs. country-style pork ribs
2 lbs. packaged sauerkraut
Garlic powder

In a pot, put sauerkraut (juice, too) over ribs. Cover with water. Season to taste and boil until tender. Remove ribs and place in bottom of baking dish. Pour slightly thick barbecue sauce on ribs. Bake in 400 degree oven uncovered for 1/2 hour or until browned.

Drain sauerkraut in colander. Put in baking dish and mix some barbecue sauce to it and bake uncovered for 1/2 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes.
