1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate morsels
1 c. nuts

Mix together thoroughly first 5 ingredients. Sift together dry ingredients, add to above. Mix well. Add chocolate morsels and nuts. Mix. Drop rounded teaspoonsful about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes or until delicate brown at 375 degrees. Cool before removing from baking sheet.
