CHOCOLATE CHIP KISSES | |
2 egg whites 8 tbsp. sugar (preferably superfine) 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. chocolate chips (reg. or mini) (Can sub. mint chips or peanut butter chips) Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Cover cookie sheet with brown paper or parchment. Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry and add 6 tablespoons of sugar, a spoonful at a time, beating well between each addition. Add the vanilla and fold in the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar and chocolate chips. Shape the kisses on cookie sheet with a pastry bag or two spoons (about the size of silver dollars). Bake for 1 hour. Turn off oven and let them remain in the oven for 3-6 more hours. The kids love them! |
