RAISIN SAUCE FOR HAM 
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 lemon, sliced
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter

Simmer raisins, sugar, and lemon in boiling water for 1 hour. Add cornstarch and butter and cook another 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cover and store in your refrigerator indefinitely.
