APPLE CAKE - NO CHOLESTEROL 
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 egg whites
2/3 c. flour
2/3 c. oat bran
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice or nutmeg
3 c. shredded unpeeled apples

In large mixing bowl combine sugars, oil and egg whites. Beat until blended. Add flours, oat bran, soda, cinnamon, allspice or nutmeg. Stir in shredded apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes in a 13"x9"x2" pan. Sift powdered sugar on top of cake.
