IRENE'S DAD'S MARINADE | |
Blend together: 1 1/2 c. oil 3/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. mustard 2 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. ground black pepper 1/2 c. wine vinegar 1 1/2 tbsp. parsley 4 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice Basil, oregano, tarragon, chervil, marjoram - a matter of preference Blend together and use to marinate chicken, pork, beef, lamb - it does everything. I frequently double the recipe and keep it in a jar in the refrigerator during the summer so that I'm always prepared. Marinate meat 4 hours if you can plan that far in advance. |
