SPECIAL SCALLOPED POTATOES 
8 med. potatoes, unpeeled
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
Diced onion, to taste
2 c. grated cheese, save 1/2 c. for topping
Dash salt
Dash pepper
1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed

Cook potatoes in salted water about 15 minutes. Cool and peel, then grate them coarsely. Add cream of chicken soup, sour cream, a little diced onion, salt and pepper if needed, melted butter and 1 1/2 cups grated cheese. Mix well, put in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Last 15 minutes add topping made of 1/2 cup cornflakes and 1/2 cup cheese.
