2 1/2 sticks butter, cream with 1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated

Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside. Add yolks to sugar mixture. Then add: 1 tbsp. vanilla

Fold in egg whites. Spread batter over cookie sheet with a side on pan. Save several spoonfuls of batter for top. Spread 1 can of pie filling over batter. Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Sift confectioners' sugar over top after you take it out of oven.
