HOUSKA BOHEMIAN 
6-7 c. flour
2 pkg. yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg
About 1 c. raisins
About 1 c. chopped walnuts

In large bowl mix together 2 1/2 cups flour, the yeast and the sugar. Heat milk to lukewarm. Add egg and beat; add salt and oil. Pour into flour mixture, beat together. Add 3 cups of flour. Combine completely. Add 1/2 cup flour at a time until dough is no longer sticky.

Flour board and knead well. Put in greased bowl, cover, let rise to double. Punch down. Divide in 3 equal parts. Roll or press out into 9 x 12 inch or larger (about 1/4-3/8 inch thick). Scatter raisins and nuts, quite thickly. Roll up. Do so with other 2 parts of dough. Grease 7 x 9 inch to 9 x 12 inch pan. Braid the 3 rolls of dough (in pan, is easiest) let rise. Bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hour.
