MANICOTTI 
16 manicotti shells
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. dill weed
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook shells about 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients except tomato sauce, water and Mozzarella cheese. Stuff cooked shells with the mixture.

Combine tomato sauce and water, pouring half into bottom of 13x9 inch casserole. Arrange manicotti in casserole and pour remaining sauce over, top with Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Variation: Brown 1 pound hamburger with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of basil and add to tomato sauce.
