4 eggs
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
7 or 8 lg. apples

Mix the dry ingredients as for pie crust. Then cut in butter, adding the well beaten eggs. Roll 1/2 of your dough 1/4 inch thick. Line your cake pan with this dough. Cut apples very thin and place them all over this dough. Sprinkle these apples with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon mixed. Roll out the rest of the dough and place on top of all of this and bake for about 1 hour. This can be baked on a cookie sheet. After it is cool, cut in pieces and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
