RHUBARB CAKE/PIE | |
1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 2 egg yolks, beaten 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. + 1 tsp. shortening 1/2 c. nuts Mix and press into 9"x13" pan. 2 egg yolks, beaten 1 3/4 c. sugar 5 tbsp. flour Mix and spread over crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Beat 4 egg whites until stiff, gradually add 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over cake. Bake until golden. |
