BACON WRAPS 
1 lb. bacon
2 cans whole water chestnuts or 1 can pineapple chunks (unsweetened)
1 (4 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce
2 c. brown sugar, packed
Toothpicks

Cut bacon strips into thirds. Wrap the strips around the water chestnuts and pierce with a toothpick. Microwave until bacon is half done. Mix tomato sauce and brown sugar in bowl. Pour into 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Add the microwaved bacon and water chestnuts, toothpick sticking up, to the sauce. Cover with foil and bake at 350 to 375 degrees until bacon is done (approximately 30 to 45 minutes).

This is a great do-ahead dish. Make as instructed, waiting to bake in oven before guests arrive. Always a big hit!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
