1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 unbeaten egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 bag Hershey's Kisses (unwrapped)

Whisk flour together with baking soda and salt.

Cream shortening with peanut butter, white and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and drop into white sugar.

Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 8 minutes. Pull out and press in Kisses on center of cookie.

Bake for additional 3-5 minutes.

Makes 3 dozen.
