VIDALIA ONION CASSEROLE 
1 lb. Vidalia onions, sliced & separated
1 egg, beaten
1 c. heavy or whipping cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Paprika

In saucepan combine onions with water to cover. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute. Drain and transfer to an 8 inch square baking dish. In bowl combine egg, cream, salt, and pepper; pour over onions. Sprinkle with cheese, then paprika. Bake 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.
