POPOVERS 
1 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tbsp. melted shortening
3/4 - 1 c. milk

Beat eggs; add milk; add flour and salt. Beat until smooth. Add shortening. Beat 3 minutes. Bake in cupcake pan at 450 degrees for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 15 more minutes. Makes 8 popovers.
