1 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar or brown sugar (packed)
1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. Bisquick

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Blend peanut butter, shortening, sugar and water with rotary beater or spoon until smooth. Stir in Bisquick. Drop small balls on lightly greased cookie sheet, flatten with fork dipped in Bisquick. Bake 8-10 minutes. Makes 6 1/2 dozen cookies.
